International Panflute Masterclass

Our Goal: Share Zamfir’s unique techniques as well as our own professional experiences.

6 Languages: English, Romanian, German, French, Czech and Dutch (depending on the languages spoken by each teacher).

4 Levels: Beginner, Medium, Advanced and Professional.

The IPM 9th Edition is a project dedicated to studying and developing the art of playing the panflute.

  • The 9th edition of International Panflute Masterclass is going to take place at one of the most beautiful locations in Romania: at the Astra Museum, in Sibiu
  • The event will take place between July 28 and August 3 2024

RUXANDRA PITULICE - EN / RO

Romanian Folklore

Ruxandra graduated the Bucharest National Music University attending the panflute class of Master Gheorghe Zamfir. She won several national and international musical contests playing Romanian traditional music and was a panflute teacher at the Music Highschool ”Dinu Lipatti” Bucuresti. She performed in Europe, Thayland, Singapore and Malaesya.

RADU NECHIFOR - EN / FR / RO

Panflute Technique

Radu graduated the Bucharest National Music University attending the classes of Master Gheorghe Zamfir and also improvisation at the Jazz class of the same institution. He is also panflute craftsman having his own atelier, and panflute teacher at the Music Highschool in Sibiu.

LISELOTTE ROKYTA - EN / DE / CZ / NL

Classical Music

Liselotte Rokyta studied the panflute at the Academy of Music in Hilversum and the Academy of Arts in Amsterdam. She enrolled in master classes with Gheorghe Zamfir, and regularly travelled to Romania to familiarize herself with the authentic Romanian style of playing. Liselotte is seen as one of the prominent non-Romanian panflute artists having mastered the Romanian style of playing the instrument.

GHEORGHE RIZEA - EN / RO

Romanian Folklore

Gheorghe graduated the Bucharest National Music University attending musicology and musical pedagogy. At the age of eleven, Gheorghe began to study the romanian panflute. He won several national and international musical contest, he was a panflute teacher at the Music Highschool ’’Dinu Lipatti’’ Bucuresti and now he is panflute solist at „Doina” Folkloric Ensemble of the Romanian Army. He performed all over Europe, America, Afganistan and several other countries.

FLAVIUS TINICA - EN / RO

Pop Music

Flavius graduated the Bucharest National Music University, attended the classes of Master Gheorghe Zamfir and was a panflute teacher at the Music Highschool, Bucharest. He performed across Europe, Turkey, Dubai and Qatar and won several national and international musical contests.
